Give damaged clothing more useful wear

Deal with damage before it gets worse
A loose hem or split seam doesn't always mean the whole garment needs replacing. We can arrange a clothes repair service through a third-party provider, with items handed over and collected at our Enfield premises. Typical enquiries include missing buttons, damaged fastenings, loose hems, opened seams and small areas needing reinforcement. Bring the item in before attempting a temporary fix that may hide or worsen the damage. We need to see the fabric, affected area and surrounding construction so the repair provider can decide what approach may be practical.
Repairs depend on fabric and construction
The same type of damage can need a different repair on a fine shirt, lined coat or pair of work trousers. Show us exactly where the problem is and explain how it happened if you know. Check whether any matching button, trim or detached fastening is available and bring it with the garment. We record the issue and arrange third-party assessment and repair. Once completed, the item returns to our premises for collection. Cleaning can also be discussed, but stained or delicate pieces may need an agreed care process before or after the repair rather than being added to an ordinary wash.

Frequently asked questions
What types of clothing damage can we bring in?
Ask us about split seams, loose hems, missing buttons, damaged fastenings and small areas needing reinforcement. The fabric, location and extent of damage determine which repair may be practical.
Who completes the garment repair?
We arrange repairs through a third-party provider. We receive the garment, record the problem and act as the collection point after the arranged work is complete. The provider assesses the practical repair method.
Should we bring a missing button or loose part?
Yes. Bring any button, hook, zip pull or trim that has come away from the garment. Keeping the original part with the item may help the provider assess the repair and available options.
